shasha: YAY! but its not a band concert its a FOA(Festival of arts). Our band concert got CANCELLED!! :( the sch made up a rule that ccas can't have concerts in SYF years, so :( www.nygh.moe.edu.sg/foa/ is the webstie, time place date etc. i'm not sure whether i can get tickets for you?? the shows are almost completely sold out but i'll try? XD i saw your limelight concert advertisement in the esplanade diary!! XD

monday was band punishments :X illegal gathering! although mr lim intervened too late and by that time i already had to run 3 rounds :( and the result?? back pain, breathlessness, tiredness, 酸痛 till today...oh man....imagine 2.4 km retest!!!!
speaking of that, the pe department pinned up the list of people who failed 2.4 km run not only on their own noticeboard but also outside the general office! now any visitor even the principal will know i failed!!! by 16 seconds! that is horrible. at least give some face ba! also, they should send the height and weight machine for fixing, because obviourly its not accurate. at least the weighing scale isn't. i've grown another cm (YAY! another step to be the next top model) but I've grown 2 kg!!! I've slightly stepped over the 50 kg mark!!!!! i'll not eat anymore mcdonalds, never again!!!! diet!!!! this is horrifying news :X what if i can't fit into the graces dresss i already bought :X hmmm must exercise more. (don't actually believe that i'll follow what i just typed. its not going to happen. i still love icecream)

people, this is serious. stop switching to livejournal! you guys are like forcing me to edit HTML and it makes me go crazy working with codes. even though i think i become smarter after that XD.
as the saying goes, if you can't beat it, join it. now i've invented a newer saying: if you can't beat them, go faster than them! smart move=start tweetering

Today i decided to give myself a little break and have some fun! i decided it would be fun to switch to a "Enchanted" layout! since we are playing the piece for band. its concluded that i'm really bad at html after all since i couldn't make the layout scroll as i wanted so i went blogskins.com and searched for the perfect layout! but i edited the picture myself with alittle help from that genius of computer graphics, Adobe photoshop. hmm i think this will only be temporary and i still like the percussion one but looks like its going to stay for a little while.

I finally finished watching the peony pavilion last night.
very outstanding performance--the ending was awesome! yay happy ever after endings are good. 只是杜丽娘的老爸杜宝一直不肯承认女儿的复活，差点害死他们。
感谢演员们把这部戏带到新加坡，让我有机会欣赏美丽的昆曲牡丹亭。
Definitely worth the time and money spent!!!

OMG. I can't believe i really did what i did this week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tue--math block test, Chemistry pratical lab assesment, Language arts summary test Wednesday--Piano lesson Thursday--got back physics AND passed with a record high of B3, BAND, farewell party at BS(sob), mr m.lim's daughter born on august 18 08(mine's aug 12)
Fri--NPCC parade-->PCCG-->la lecture-->alit @library-->SIL @audi-->PSL GM@ LT--> got back math AND passed with a record low of B3--> Chinese compo-->print physics @lab-->BAND-->chiong and carrying a 5 tonne suitecase down 4 storeys and moved out of BS-->chiong back home--〉chiong to esplanad in 45mins(ran the whole length of city link mall and everyone stare at me like crazy--> watched the PEONY PAVILION for 4 hours-->got home 1 am--> sleep till 11am today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i think i might have set a all time new record for concert going! the peony pavilion@esplanade theatre started at 8 pm and the intermission is at 10 pm! and ended at 12 midnight! and it continues for the same duration for FRIDAY, SATURDAY, and SUNDAY! luckily monday is a holiday just for people like me who didn't know peony pavilion runs for a freaking(i mean, really) full length of 20 hours?? luckily its cut short to only 12. i need to check out the time span before i ask my mum to buy tickets for 3 consecutive nights. also, the reason why there is only 1 performance. i nearly fell asleep(see the amount of running i did) if not thank goodness for the intermission.
but the performance is really very wonderful. highly recommended if you are able to fork out 50 dollars a night. lcukily theres such thing as concession tickets XD i like the ending. its very beautiful and striking.
anyway i'm still determinedly going for tonights performance as well.
we're not supposed to play with chemicals...i wasn't playing...copper() sulpahte is a nice colour...it just so happened that i made a beautiful mistake of not shaking the precipitate carefully and tada! the bottom layer is the clear original solution, the light blue chalky thing is light blue ppt after you add something, then the dark blue solution on top is when the ppt dissolves in the reagent. see? this is a demo of how the different steps should give you. marks really shouldn't be deducted...
haha this is random! tis' hui ci and jianing helping out dear cao lao shi at SMBO! we were packing the goodie bags then we cary everything to audi and everyone take like 30 bags...and ended up like this. looks like orchard road has a big discount going on.
no, i didn't buy this. LIBRARY DUTY--- i went for the book exchange coupon thingy you know when you exchange your old books for coupons? well this lady came with this box of books!!!!! like OMG!!!!!! she just gave away the entire harry potter series AND the book written by mugglenet that predicts what will happen!and whats more she have 2 copies of halfblood prince! the same! and all the books are super new! i was so shocked i couldn't help but take a picture. the girl doing duty with me is another Felicia from NYMS XD not felican/felicai. we both read the afternoon away(ie) free reading of books other people give us
